JKMuir is instrumental in working with clients to develop effective commissioning plans to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and function properly once in service.
Long term, reliable operation depends on the effective performance testing and commissioning of equipment. This final phase of construction projects impacts operational performance, contractors and manufacturer guarantees and warranties, accurate program automation, maintenance requirements, and operator knowledge throughout training programs.
JKMuir manages the schedule, oversight, and documentation of the start-up and commissioning of buildings, mechanical and process equipment, and control systems during the construction phase of upgrades and new construction projects. The requirements for start-up and commissioning, outlined in the specifications, are adhered to for every piece of equipment. Throughout commissioning JKMuir takes detailed notes of recommendations or additional steps performed by the manufacturer and contractors to properly operate the equipment. The notes are documented and saved for the customers records. Documentation of our notes throughout the commissioning process creates a resource the customer can refer to during future commissioning or start-up events.
In addition to startup and commissioning JKMuir has experience developing operation and maintenance manuals and training lesson plans. JKMuir’s extensive knowledge and expertise in providing these services can contribute to the installation and operation of reliable and efficient equipment.
